A family breakfast with boiled eggs and tea

Our story

Grown in Assam. Staying in Assam.

The story of an egg brand that decided Assam deserved its own.

Our name

A word from home, turned around.

Koni is the Assamese word for egg. Read it backwards and you get NIKO. It’s a small reminder of where we come from, and of who we make our eggs for.

Why we started

Assam was eating eggs from far away.

Most eggs sold in Assam come from farms at the other end of the country. They spend three to four days in a truck before they reach a shop. We thought Assam deserved better than week-old eggs.

So we built our own farm here. A shorter road means fresher eggs, fewer broken trays, and a brand that belongs to the people who buy it. NIKO began in 2026 with one farm and one simple idea.

“Assam deserves eggs laid this week, not last week.”

What we stand for

Three promises in every tray.

01

Fresh, because it’s close

Freshness isn’t a slogan for us. It comes from where our farm is.

02

Made here, kept here

Local jobs, local shops, and money that stays in Assam.

03

Honest eggs

Clean, sorted by hand, and exactly what the carton says.

Amino Farms

The family farm behind NIKO.

NIKO Eggs is a venture of Amino Farms Private Limited. We began in 2026 with one farm in Sonitpur, and NIKO is our first consumer brand, built to bring fresh eggs to every street in the state.
